- For a medium-rare steak, aim to remove the steak from the heat when it reaches approximately 130°F, which will take approximately eight minutes total cooking time.
- For a medium-rare steak, 140°F is the ideal temperature after nine to ten minutes of cooking time.
What temperature should steak be?
